Cepea, 05/11/2024 – Domestic wheat prices fell in October, reflecting the progress of the harvest and, consequently, greater availability of the cereal on the Brazilian market. Cepea researchers explain that this occurred even as the domestic wheat price traded below the import parity price – the wider import parity has been sustained by the stronger dollar against the Real. Even so, domestic quotes for the cereal remain above those recorded in October of last year, in real terms, Cepea surveys also show. Source: Cepea (www.cepea.esalq.usp.br)
